Watched this AFTER Mr. Broose

And now I want to see Mr. Broose come and remove the spider for him haha

I made it funnier in my head but thats not such a bad thing

ZILLIS responds:

Yeah, well this is just random one panel style comic joke thing - sort of... I guess

Excellent spoof

Totally reminded me of why I put this and infamous down after about a week without finishing them and only playing in short bursts of freeroaming when I did

Battosai810 responds:

Prototype is pretty much only enjoyable for the "aimlessly dicking around" aspect. Glad you liked the Flash.

Now make it playable...

If this was a sprite game I would be using this box here to tell you how much of a genius you are etc but it's not... and it really should be..

Too many long periods of just walking between slightly comedic or action packed moments... don't get me wrong it WAS good.. but if you'd made a game instead of a movie and let the player go thru all 8 levels it would be the tits!

Other than that it's a nice bit of flash with some good TF references (although I though TF was Transformers when I saw the name on the portal lol

This was always my least favourite stage on MM as a kid purely for all the orange and green and the shortest music loop... gotta say though LOVED the intro

Well done.. make a game of this and you'll have my 10.. if you make another episode, treat it like an episode, and not like watching someone play.. it will work better

Keep it up though you definitely know what you're doing

Genjis responds:

I'm well aware about the fact that some parts are kinda slow, but that's due to the fact that I had some problems with tweens. It's my first big movie after all, so I'm not that "smooth" then other sprite movie artists. Still, thanks for the fair review man.

About the game thing: I indeed had the idea of creating a game based on the TF2-Megaman-idea, but since I'm absolutely no programmer (trust me, I've tried it out at least once) this is the best thing I could do. But the internet is big, maybe I find someone who can help me out with the programming, who knows?

The whole retro gaming scene is too trendy for me.

But this was still funny... I remember I couldn't keep still playing mario bros on it when I was 6 years old. waving the controller around as if it actually helped.

Still though.. an ironic parody here but it didn't produce more than a grin on my face which was the only thing wrong.. but I blame me more than you cos this was an excellent flash.

Either way... People are starting to forget the difference between "classic" and "good" all the NES games were Classics but it doesn't mean they are still good... "New Zealand Story" anyone?

YES

just plain "YES" the ultimate positive word

Daaaamnn

You totally had a 10 until hatredcopter got cut off... it's their best song and I got all excited but then you ripped out my music bone and killed me with it! :(

Breaktroll responds:

heh, sorry. but I couldn't let the whole song in. still thanks.

Awesome!

This is hilarious.. now though, you face your greatest challenge... produce a broose series... without it getting boring.. keep him as a killing machine but somehow come up with new ways of killing people and putting slight ammounts of plot here and there.. eg. "Mr. Broose gets a job" or "Mr. Broose goes back to college"

ZILLIS responds:

Well, now... "Mr. Broose gets a job" sounds so immediately familiar...
Thanks for the support.

nice slapstick sprites!

finally a sprite flash that doesn't involve anime characters blasting each other... and it's a slapstick comedy which makes it all the better... good work on this one.. could have done with leaving out the perfect circle mouths as they take away from the sprite feel but other than that this made me chuckle

Nicely done..

...but the sound quality of the backing track wasn't good enough to hear the words properly. Especially cos they were sung so fast. It also didn't help that your syncing was slightly out and so trying to read words and listen to them distortedly and different timings got awkward in places.

That said this was a nice piece and a unique idea.. clearly a british animator good work overall

Funny but not as intended...

It's like some of it was intentionally badly animated... i don't know if it was or not but that running had me in stitches..

A lot of it didn't make a great deal of sense.. seemed translated quite a bit.. was this originally in another language?

also... bill has a t-shirt with 'x' on... is 'x' famous? and come to think of it... where did he end up? he ran away as soon as they gor to bills place and never came back.. not even a goodbye

animation, graphic, sound, english and timing all need a lot of work but i enjoyed this for some strange reason

well done keep trying

diogoshx responds:

well, bad animated? they move like something else, like every people...

originally this is a portuguese animation.

x is not famous, he appeared in "flinkys 5 let´s go party" he gives bill a t-shirt with his name.

he run away cause he was a prisioner of "tobi" , he wants freedom like everyone!.
so when he have the chance he run way to his peacefull house

tks for the review, you know better your questions?
